English assistant- apprenticeship :

Free Little Birds School (Agde- south of France) is offering an internship under the government system of “service civique” (apprenticeship).

​

To be enrolled in this State program, you have to be aged between 18 and 26 and have an interest in gaining experience in education, eco-citizenship development and/or working with children. 

Free Little Birds is a private bilingual Montessori school established in 2019.

​

It is made up of 7 modern yurts, in a lovely town by the Mediterranean Sea, 45 mins from Montpellier.

90 pupils are enrolled in 4 classes from 3 to 11 years old.

​

Our teaching staff is composed of 17 people who love working in a dynamic and positive environment.

Job description:

Assist the teaching staff in greeting pupils and accompanying them in English throughout the daily activities.

​

Under the “service civique” agreement and working alongside qualified teachers, you will receive training in Montessori and Freinet teaching methods.

Contract :

 It is a ten month contract from September 2023 to June 2023. The hours are 32 hours per week during school term time. There will be 6 weeks off from September to June.

 You will be remunerated by the government service civique scheme (600 euros free of charge monthly). The school can help you find accommodation in Agde.
